I'm currently a Business Development Specialist at Oikocredit International, an impact investor active in 70 developing countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa, with c. EUR 1 billion AuM.

I have a background in business development in banking and insurance with ING in Asia and Eastern Europe, before I started working as a business development consultant focused on SMEs in developing countries. I spent 3.5 years in East Africa, working with tech startups through various business incubators in the region, as well as Musoni - the world's first entirely cashless microfinance institution, leveraging the opportunities offered by mobile money solutions such as M-Pesa in Kenya.

I strongly believe there's a huge commercial & social opportunity in bringing financial & non-financial services to the unbanked population in the developing world, and FinTech is a very important part of that puzzle.

I'm specifically looking for innovative SME financing solutions, with a sweet spot around SGBs (small & growing businesses) - also known as the 'missing middle' (too large for microfinance, too small for traditional banks).

Contact me directly or through LinkedIn if you want to discuss opportunities in FinTech in developing countries!
